Right now the chicks are just growing and getting more and more adult feathers. They are definitely developing their personalities. Thelma and Louise continue to look for adventure whenever possible, Baby is very sweet, Minnie and Daisy are usually very silly and love their dust baths and Zena is always on the lookout. We took them out Saturday and put them in the extra stall in the barn. After they got used to the environment, they ran around and scratched and explored. They were very tired after their big outdoor adventure. Plans continue to be made for the coop. We have decided to make the run wider and put a chicken wire divider down the middle so we can rotate them from one side to the other to keep the area from getting totally destroyed.
Guess we'll try and get the coop done over the next 2 - 3 weeks. Then it should be warm enough for them to move outside. Glen has been a good sport but I'm sure he would like his workshop back.
