Have neglected this blog for a while, we have a new granddaughter on the scene and she takes time from other things. And of course it is close to holiday time. The girls are great, still happy and healthy. They are laying about 3 - 4 eggs a day down from 6 but that's fine, you have to rest some time. We did put a light in the coop to extend their day a little but only until 7:00pm. It is nice to get home and the light is on and I can go in for a visit!. They love to get their evening treats. Well this weekend I'll make quiche for the freezer, have a supply of eggs to use. Next week, I'll probably sell some again. Finally have a picture of the sign for the flock. Glen had it ready for our Fall party in October!
